杂志上的论文，于2007年3月在国际心血管杂志发表。令人气愤和发指的是，薛

116, pages 231-235 (attached) is a blatant and outrageous plagiarism
. @2 H" p  L" y# A; m: zof a paper from my lab (also attached) published in Circulation in
2001.
$ o; X0 W8 I- E; Y3 wThe figure in the Xue et al paper was copied from my paper!  Much of
9 q/ S2 g, d0 D% C0 H" \: I" kthe text was also copied.
6 y7 k# Y& w0 T8 d) L' z% [I leave it to you to decide how to handle this situation but at the
6 b8 |0 q; R( x9 [% hvery least I would expect the paper to be retracted, and the deans at
# A: Q5 l1 O2 U6 |the authors' institutions contacted to report this blatant fraud.  I
am happy to say that in my five years as editor of the JCI I never
saw such an outrageous incident!
